Volunteers wanted for Abandoned baby home.

Volunteer Work with abandoned babies at our Children's home for abandoned babies in Nairobi, Mombasa or Central Kenya. The homes take in babies either just left by the roadside, from hospital where the parents have died from HIV or poverty related illness. Volunteers help feed, nurture and look after sometimes over 20+ young baby orphans.

Who Volunteers?

You don't need any previous experience to volunteer or have knowledge of a foreign language. Most Inspire volunteers in Kenya or Sri Lanka are either lone females, couples, matures, professionals  Gap year or career breakers. If you have something to offer, a sense of humour and want to contribute to the need of a developing country, these programs could be for you..

Volunteers conduct a range of tasks in children homes from keeping the children active, safe, and fed to helping the staff prepare food, cleaning and washing. In Kenya alone their is a new orphan created every 5 mins from poverty.

Teach your skills to  children in primary schools and education centres. From Nursery to teens. We have programs for all ages and abilities. Teach English, computers, sports or even music.

Inspire offers volunteering with wildlife in game reserves in Kenya and on the beaches of Sri Lanka conserving Turtles. Volunteers assist in the monitoring of species and collection of scientific data.

Whatever your level of nursing or medical skill base, we have hospitals and clinics with spaces for volunteers to nurse overseas in Kenya or Sri Lanka.

Enhance the look of your CV by doing a journalism internship in Kenya. We have placements with magazines, national newspapers and a radio station too.

Volunteer in refugee camps or feeding centres in Kenya. Harsh, hot conditions, but will enable you to help feed people who are starving and homeless in remote areas.
