A trip to Kenya would not be complete without seeing some of the spectacular landscapes and wildlife it has to offer. During your placement or even after it we can arrange a safari for you at a competitive price. Our safaris are organised locally so the money you pay stays in Kenya and does not do outside to foreign tour operators. We also use vehicles that are carbon efficient and regularly maintained to ensure damage to these precious environments you visit are minimal. Our volunteers are also encouraged to stay in camps instead of lodges where again the fees remain local and the environmental damage is much smaller. These are the most popular and basic packages. We can also customise them to suit, this of course can adjust the price. Other reserves and activities can be quoted on request.

Nairobi National Park - 4 hours
Visit the only game park within the limits of the city, The National Park featuring the highest concentration of black rhinos in the World. Proceed to the Animal Orphanage where wounded and orphaned animals are nursed back to health.

Karen Blixen Museum, Langata Giraffe Center & Carnivore Restaurant ( Nairobi)
Visit the “Out of Africa” Karen Blixen museum located in the house where this famous author resided. Proceed to the Giraffe Center where you will be offered the unique opportunity to hand feed Rothschild Giraffes. After a day of touring a stop at the famous Carnivore restaurant provides an excellent place to sample succulent barbequed game meat and an extensive choice of well varied dishes.

 Lake Nakuru National Park
Drive to Lake Nakuru arriving in time for lunch. Nakuru National park is the best place in Kenya to sight white rhinos grazing by the lakeside, the sheet of Pink flamingos covering the shores of the lake is also a spectacular site. After an afternoon game drive head back to Nairobi with a stop over at Naviasha Country club for tea of Coffee. Arrive in Nairobi in the early morning.

 Mount Kenya and Aberdares Safari - 3 Day from Nairobi.  

                                 Depart from Nairobi traveling though the fertile coffee and tea plantations of the central highlands to arrive in Aberdares. After lunch take an afternoon game drive returning to the Treetops hotel for dinner and overnight stay. After an early breakfast depart to Africa’s second highest mountain Mt Kenya. Check in at Mount Kenya Safari Lodge and spend the afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at the Lodge. After an early breakfast begin drive back to Nairobi arriving in the early afternoon.

 2 or 3 day safari to the Mighty Masai Mara

Depart from Nairobi in the early morning to travel to Masai Mara. After lunch proceed to enjoy an afternoon game drive though the national park, a classic example of the African savannah. Dinner and overnight stay at a lodge/camp.After an early breakfast depart on a full day game drive. The park is densely populated with a wide range of wild life, including all of the big cats, numerous heard of elephants, giraffes, wildebeest and many more. Dinner and overnight at lodge/ camp. Early Game drive before breakfast.  Late breakfast then leave for Nairobi taking lunch enroute.
